The Zutons

I have a horrible feeling some miming was just happening at T4 on the beach?!?! Is anyone with me on this sad proposition?

yeah, but i think something else was going on - they didn't look happy at all and they were making it obvious they were miming. between songs, it looked like dave was about to kick off on someone in the crowd too! very weird - what was going on????

I saw the show in Liverpool 1 June. I loved your performance. The day after My family and another family from our Beatles tour went out and bought the Who Killed the Zutons CD. Now I can't get the songs out of my head. Great show. Someday I hope you tour the states. I have no doubt you will become famous. Keep rocking.

It was painful to watch but must be more to it. From what i can make out from various bits on the internet it looks like they were forced to mime which they didn't take kindly to. Don't blame Dave - why host a 'live music event' then not let the artists perform live (which is what the Zutons do best). The bad publicity they're getting for it isn't good though.

God i know, i was right at the front and it was cringeing! it was so obvious that they were miming. But watching the tape back , all of them looked like they had been really pissed off. It was a really dissapointing performance?

It just shows that theres not enough time to set up bands properly at this sort of event.Its a shame because it looked bad and we all know the zutons are great live bad. Next time the zutons should be more careful on the evens they do.
